I'm not sure which one had the give away, whether it was pondersosa or bananza, but they would give one of those old school mini helmets away with kids meals.

I would always get the damn Bungals

I have this faint memory from the 90s of cutting out barcodes from some product and using them to buy/get NFL team youth football. Anyone remember that? I think we had the Cowboys and Packers for sure.

I got a Rich Gannon Jersey when I was a kid. Was a chiefs fan, also had a John Elway.

Pretty sure I have 2 or 3 sets of those unopened in a box somewhere. 5th grade me thought they'd be worth serious money someday

I was tempted.

Who else had the vortex? I had the orange one and the purple one that whistled when you threw it. Was fun as hell playing catch over the length of a soccer field

Had the pencils but preferred Yikes even though they were so brittle.

Yo zappa. Looking for an oilers helmet like that. Do you have that helmet? If so would you sell it?

Roger needs to intervene and bring Oilers back to Houston. I’m a Saints fan and kinda liked the Oilers back in the day. I bet Texan fans would trade for Oilers any day.

Do you still have that oilers helmet by chance? Would you be willing to sell it if you do? Thanks.

Starter jackets were the best

That clean arse shine they put off. You were pimp as frick with it on, back then. People would jock your shite, and be all over that nut as you strolled the Mall, heading from the food court back to arcade to play some Punchout or get all four of you banging out the quarters for gauntlet.

I had a Cowboys starter jacket.

I’m ashamed of myself.

Every time I go back to my parents’ house I look at the collection of various team hats. FSU, Notre Dame, Virginia. So weird.

Starter made so much awesome clothing back in the day. I found someplace in a local mall that somehow had some sweet Starter coats for sale. My old Blues jersey won't fit anymore, but my old hats still do.

I can remember making my father get a MILB catalog, so i could get a Chattanooga Look out hat. I thought it was cool as hell.

I had the white Earl Campbell Oilers Jersey (not pictured). Christmas 1979. I picked it out at the old Athletic House off Woodale in Baton Rouge and my dad held it til Christmas.
