If it's good enough for ChemE, it's good enough for me. Was able to grab MSU at +5 and UVA at +12 still. Also couldn't resist Colo -13.
ETA: Speaking of Colorado, is anyone else looking at that game? They put up 215 rush yards even though they lost last week on the road in Hawaii. They get UMass, at altitude, who will probably be just as bad on defense this year as they were last year. I expect UMass to score some, but not enough.

Michigan State finally hit 3.5 for me. Is buying the half point a must?

Just locked in UVA +11.5 and Vandy +21. Probably will have 4-6 more.

I see a lot of people here on Utah St. I like Keaton and actually follow Utah St closer than most teams each year, but they have a new OC, Josh Heupel, who is a shithead. He was fired from Oklahoma. Their offense only scored 3 points against Southern Utah!
I get the contrarian play, rival game angle, but how are you guys expecting them to score?

I'd think so. If they win by a FG, you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it.

I'm not. I am not expecting Utah to do anything, though.
This is a 17-7 final score written all over it

So why not just bet under 44.5?

Dude you cant reason with the gam-bots in football terms. they dont even know what sport theyre actually betting on. theyre using the dewey decimal system to determine likely outcomes and shite

I don't know how I'm playing it yet, but I'll be using some of these on Saturday.
Maryland -7'
Clemson -17'
Colorado St +6
Vanderbilt +20'
Iowa St +3'
Oklahoma -1'
Missouri -11
UNLV +29'

I've got Utah scoring 24-27 and Utah State scoring 16-20 tomorrow night. We shall see.

You don't get it mane
You don't understand that the strength of teams is often the easiest thing to identify, and therefore the worst way to gain an edge on the market...

I didn't downvote anyone... Everyone has their strategies
I still think experience is the #1 strategy though. Do this long enough and you learn from your mistakes. It's like gambling natural selection. Your strategies evolve based on being burned and you learn the patterns.

I agree with you on this... I've evolved to money market plus emotional/situational evaluation over time. Matchups, etc. don't mean much to me. Some people do well with that though...

From my experience, previous games like this Georgia-Vandy one, where the public is overwhelmingly on one side and calling it free money, lose more often than they win.
I remember there was a time where I would make my plays and feel even better about them if most of the public was on my side

I think that is true for the most part, however in this case the books have not adjusted enough to the terribleness that is Vanderbilt Football under Derek Mason.
There are weaknesses in the market sometimes, and Vandy has crushed the books for the last 12 months.

I just hit Colorado St. +4.5. That line is crashing. Minnesota was so focused last week. They will come out flat.
Posted on 9/10/15 at 4:48 pm to Billy Mays
This is just incorrect. Vandy went 6-6 last year ATS.
