Virginia back down to 11.5 at most books despite receiving 10-15% of total wagers... That's looking like a public burial more and more.

I have been trying to explain to the squares on reddit how Georgia/Notre Dame are the ultimate public burial square traps
Honestly now that I think about it the key to profiting betting on CFB is experience. When you have been doing it long enough you have been burned on public burial plays enough to know a trap line when you see it.
I used to see matchups and say "OMG Georgia! They are sooooo much better than Vanderbilt! They will kill them!" and bet Georgia without even looking at the line. There are lots of bettors like that who will take a team no matter what the line is just because they think they will "kill" them.

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier when betting lines vs betting teams.
I used to do that as well. Sometimes I got lucky, but in the long run I got burned.

Are you really worried about the difference between 11.5 and 12?

When you look at the two teams long and hard. The only advantage that you could really say Vandy has is home field. Now that they are talking shite to Chubb & Co, look out. UGA will blast them. Vandy may score 10 at the most

so 30-10 final?

For clarity, I'm liking Virginia not Vandy. I wouldn't touch Vandy, it's just a steer clear.

I don't see UGA kicking that many FG's

The cyborg gamblers in here are making me pull a little extra for outcomes in a few games

Agree. Vandy is so poorly coached and deprived of talent. I'm not betting because Mark Richt, but UGA should crush them.
Virginia is a 100% throw out all your football knowledge, put on the blindfold, and bet UVA game.
Miss St has HFA, 5 pts, better QB. LSU has Les who loves to keep games as close as possible and did not get the warmup game they desperately needed.

I'm on State. Partially for a Home Team Hedge, and partially because I can see LSU's defense getting Dak'ed.

I'm about to lock some in, sharp money coming into the market.

Point taken, Dak is a good QB, but you don't know this. You don't know this because you have no clue what to expect from Harris or the LSU offense.
Also, Dak was good with an offensive line that didn't have several new starters. Their defense was also good before the lost like 6 of their front 7.

I had people pose the same question when I was concerned about my Virginia bet last week. I had Virginia +17.5 and it closed at Virginia +19.
Virginia lost by 18 and I lost the bet
