A couple of thoughts...
I doubt Rickie is kicking himself over that three putt. He had to go for the eagle, couldn't leave it short. Tough break on the birdie putt, but you don't play for second.
Phil being upset is understandable. I think Rickie waved Rory on, and he didn't consult with Phil first. That's on Rickie.
What an odd finish. But as someone else said, Rory rushing that hole gave Phil a chance. Rory almost botched it.
What an amazing day! Great golfers going at it shot for shot.

Have all of Rory's major wins been in windless, soft conditions? I don't remember the weather at this years open or PGA 2012.

Agree. Not like he cares about the money
Rory crushed it. I think phil has right to be understandable. But also see where Ror is coming from

Very nice interview by Rickie, but you could tell he wasn't pleased with how it was handled.
