Yall realize Carolina was favorite to win the series before it started but the team that wins the first game wins the cup 74% of the time. Going to be a great series both these teams are really good

Hell yeah. Vegas physicality is giving Carolina trouble. Hopefully McNabb is ok and can get out there next game.

Vegas is scary because theyve already put up more offense than anyone Carolina has faced

Ummm what? Was a clear trip

Yes, I think he's probably referring to the no goal call on replay, and the fact that CAR scored immediately after on the pp for delay of game. But that's jmo

Won the Cup in Year 6. Average a SCF appearance every third season. You mad?

Didn't think Game 1 could be topped but it was.

This series has a chance to be an all-timer

The average Carolina "fan" doesn't even realize they signed Cal Foote and believes they're an expansion franchise.

Not mad at all. Just screams bandwagon fanbase that just figured out what the blue lines are for.

Go Whalers!

I didn't get to watch. Should the challenge been ruled a Golden Knights goal? Olchyk on the radio feed said it should have been a goal.

Ignorant? Dude.....most people - outside of bandwagoners - don't like Vegas. Why?

You've never experienced a losing season. This year was technically one of their worst seasons in Vegas history with only 39 wins and they're in the finals.

The New York Islanders went 12-60-6 their first season in '72. The Kansas City Scouts 15-54-11 their first year........New Jersey Devils 17-49-14 in their inaugural season.

Heck....the Washington Capitals won 19 games.....in their FIRST TWO SEASONS COMBINED!! Those fans deserved that Cup in 2018....when they beat the freagin Golden Turds.

Yes, the NHL screwed up royally with the Vegas expansion draft and we're all looking forward to them at some point experiencing a drop off of their tourist driven fanbase.

Go Whalers!

Found the guy who lost his arse in Vegas and is still bitter about it.

Rough night all around for the VGK but nobody said it would be easy. Refocus and come back strong Saturday night.

LOL! Sorry......just my old Alberta blood boiling a bit.

Miss the old 'Battle of Alberta' days with Tim Hunter, Dave Semenko, Jim Peplinski, Lanny McDonald, Eddy Beers (best name in hockey), Messier, Mike Krushelnyski.......those were the days. Old-time hockey.

These days, there are better "Battle of Alberta" fights in the stands...especially Oilers fans fighting each other.

Calgary fans have to be torn. VGK hate aside, if the Knights lift the Cup, they get a first round pick. Quite the conundrum.

I thought Calgary gets the pick regardless.....would just be either 30th or 31st pick. Not totally sure.

They get the 2026 first round pick regardless.

The 2028 pick is conditional. It's currently a second round pick but it upgrades to a first round pick if the Knights win the 2026 Cup.

Ref obviously lost sight of the puck under Andersen. Audio sounded like the whistle is blown AFTER the puck crosses the goal line. I thought it was a goal; however, I did not expect the call on the ice to get overturned during the reply. I agreed with Tortorella's challenge as I think they got screwed.

No.

Ref lost sight of it and blew his whistle. That alone was a basis to waive it off.

Calling it goalie interference was dumb because Vegas thought that was challengeable (which it was), but replay was never going to overturn that.
