I doubt we see a game six after that we BLEW every opportunity to win this starting with Suzuki.

these unforced errors are insane. just give the fricking got damn series away.
pure suicide.
they prolly did with the offside goal called back.

it cost us the game and most likely the series.

we have way too many holes to fill. good run tho. 1st run of a 5 year window.

huge needs to be filled this summer.

team is just dumber than fricking dogshit. young and dumb. need a real 2nd line. need another C and RD.

hopefully vegas rapes rod hatememour and his big arse nose.

Montreal looks depleted. Nothing left after 2 really physical series. Canes are healthy and well rested. Montreal isn't going to win this series.

It would have been nice to get 2 days off between games 2 & 3 when switching cities. NHL has done that in the past & did it in the 1st series.

But since the Buffalo series it's been every other night for Montreal. Team looks spent.

Suzuki was shite tonight. Not sure what's going on with him, but he's handling the puck poorly. I thought Caufield had a good game & Slafkovsky got going too after the 1st.

Suzuki missing that breakaway chance right at the beginning of OT was it. There was a time he didn't miss on those.

Thought Dobson was pretty good. He was moving the puck well. Hutson struggled at times at doing the same thing & he was the one who gave it away in OT. We need to stop playing him with Struble for f*** sakes.

Guhle was awful too.

Too many mistakes. Too many stupid giveaways. They're not moving the puck with speed. They're basically stalled all the time.

Dobes was fantastic again.

MSL needs to be canned by tomorrow morning. I don't care about the optics. He isn't a good coach at this point.

1 shot in over 37 minutes and 51 seconds (this has to be a record) in a home game in the ECF is already unexcusable.

It's still a young series. Maybe there will be a little Montreal Magic..

Game 4 is must win territory though or Habs are fricked

You have to wonder if the two 7 game series getting here is finally catching up to Montreal (just as the layoff rust appears gone from Carolina).

Carolina is just a deeper, more complete team and Montreal is ahead of schedule
Montreal had some magic that might be wearing off now - they need their top guys to produce to stay in games along with Dobes magic and if neither happens they will lose

meh. i know this team better than anybody here for obvious reasons.

we usually fall apart when we have a chance to capitalize and lose a couple heart breakers in OT. first time losing 2 straight in playoffs, it flips their whole mindset. this offensive shooting is anemic. worst i have ever seen in decades. maybe all time. i have seen this movie before. canes should finish with 4 straight wins. just like they did to us in 2006. after we were up 2-0.

definitely laying big $$$$ now on canes and vegas. if they cannot capitalize i sure as hell will!

canes wont beat vegas.

That's one thing about being a VGK fan...you know that your team will never be dictated by optics.

Y'all going to make me keep having to white knight for my Canes. This obviously remains to be seen, but they had the 2nd best record in the league, scored the second-most goals in the league, have a stifling defense, and outshoot and control nearly every game. Just because they don't have any superstars on their roster, they get overlooked. This team is as solid as they come. So yes, they may not win it all. Or even advance to the finals. But to say crap like they won't beat Vegas is silly.

Avs still a very slight favorite tonight. Doesn't make much sense to me.

When Sid Seixero picks your team to win, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Dude had Montreal winning the series after Game 1

I’ve got to admit, I didn’t know what Stone did wasn’t illegal. I’m still an NHL newbie I guess. Great goal though.
