Boo em off the ice, Boston

I'd love your prediction
I'm thinking another nail biter Avs 3 Kings 2
Buffalo is absolutely destroying Boston

Swayman looked absolutely pedestrian over the last 2 games. Put a fork in Boston, they are done

What the frick is taking so long for puck drop. I’ve gotta take my 5yo to the rink in a few minutes and it was supposed to start 20 minutes ago

tv probably, had to wait for the Sabres arse whipping to end.
Never saw myself pulling for the bolts, but hoping they win in another OT game tonight

Puck drop in nationally televised games is almost always 22ish minutes after the scheduled “start.”

All the networks lie about the start times every year. Whatever time they make up, automatically add another 20 minutes to it.

Here’s the other thing…you pull it up on HBO and get that “event about to start”, it will just stay on that even after it starts. You have to back out and reset.
On a game note, Kings are coming out with a lot of pressure. For the sake of a potential last-game for Kopitar, I hope it’s a fight. Would love to see an Avs sweep, but dammit Kopitar is a legend

Maybe it’s the alcohol, but that felt like the best 15 minutes (after the Kings surge to start the game) the Avs have put together of the series.
PP goal. Threatening on the second PP. PK stout. Many other chances.

It really seems like they're playing a gear below their max and can elevate if needed. They just haven't had to so far.
Cale is back, though, 100%

Kings better get one back here in the second otherwise this seems all she wrote.

Sam Malinski has been the unsung hero of this entire year for the Avs. It’s been insane seeing his growth.
If the Avs win this year’s Cup, it’s essentially because he played the Helm role.

That should do it. Kings arent scoring 3 goals in this period.

Second round hump away from winning it all again

Could be a long break between series. Guys can get healthy, but also cold.

Look at the rest of the league - the only team(s) that could beat us are Dallas or Minnesota. Obviously any team can win a series and injuries happen, but all things considered the second round was always going to be the biggest hurdle. It will be a battle.
