That’s a wrap for this year fellas. Dallas picked a pretty awful time to suddenly grow allergic to goals. You could argue they outplayed Edmonton for large portions of this game but it doesn’t matter if you don’t put the puck in the net. Dallas has been so good offensively in the first two rounds but have gone vegetative here.

That’s a problem for sure but the inability to score has been the biggest issue. You will not win a series against great players like Edmonton has when you score 2 goals in 3 games.

I wouldn't be too hard on the Stars. Watching the last round, Edmonton really started clamping down defensively and had great structure. Combine that with the superstar offensive talent the Oilers have and you have a very formidable team.
Probably over for the Stars this season. The upcoming Panthers v Oilers finals should be great though.

Stars have just had so many chances and haven’t been able to cash in. To play the period they played in the 2nd of game 3 and the first of game 4 and to not come away with more is just pitiful.
Dallas is most likely done. Just wild they haven’t been able to beat skinner.

No doubt the Oilers have exerted their will but the Stars have no answer, not one and therein is the disappointment. If it wasn't for #96 they would already be fishing. No one on the Stars has done anything of consequence.
Could put Dallas on the sheet, have the Oilers hang out in the locker room and they still wouldn't have an answer.

Oilers are protecting him around the crease - to their credit and Dallas is a finesse team...Stars have no answer because they don't have the horses to offset

No doubt. All of the Stars best players have gone 100% radio silent. Mikko hasn’t scored. Wyatt has been silent. Just a lot of quiet from guys you need to make noise.

Window is still wide open for the Stars for the next 3-5 years. Maybe one year Robo and the kids will carry Benn's arse to a Cup, but this disappearing act in the WCF every year has got to be solved.
