And look...they all made something of themselves. What's that say about all of the slouches with two parents?

Just looked at some Timberwolves Twitter in regards to Walker Kessler. Half of them like it half of them hate it, yet all of them agree they needed a rim protecting big. That's what they got, and they are still hating.

Kessler is the perfect guy to put next to KAT (depending on how long he stays there) for his defense. If he can improve on his offense, he'll have a lot of room to post up there

A lot of the knocks I've seen about Kessler from fans on Twitter is recency bias from him having a poor game in our loss vs Miami in March

Mavs trading up to get Jaden Hardy. I like it. Will at least give me a reason to watch the Mavs Summer League games now

I’m gonna say a center who can’t defend on the perimeter, and does nothing on offense, is not the perfect guy next to KAT. Someone like Mobley would be perfect next to KAT. Hell, a guy like Maxi Kleber would be great next to KAT.

I was laughing at the Kings. I was laughing at Perk comparing a guy who can’t shoot to Buddy Hield. Then I saw Mavs were getting him. Damn. Hope he lives up to his potential coming out of high school, but it’s gonna be tough for a 6’4 guard second round pick inefficient chucker.

I’m so lost with all the trades. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like they are doing a terrible job keeping these trades straight.

As I was typing this, I realized the Mavs drafted Hardy with Liddell, Keels, and Kendall Brown all still available.

The one that showed up for two games against Utah in the playoffs...sure

The one that showed up for the rest of the playoffs that made Kevon Looney look like a god...no one would want that.

Mobley would be a perfect fit for any team, which is why he was a No. 3 pick, not the 22nd. You've got KAT, Ant and Russell (also Beasley when he gets starter minutes), you don't need someone to score.

Brown would be the only one I would have taken over Hardy. He was an inefficient chucker on that Ignite team that was just a whole bunch of should be freshmen so it's hard to fully judge that, but he's only 19 almost 20 and I think has the highest ceiling of anyone that was left.

He's got a good stroke (if you look past the numbers) and athleticism, so you take that shot at a second-rounder and hope he can live up to that potential he once had. If not, no harm

Pretty much every pick in the 40s got traded

There's clerks in the NBA office tracking all of this going "F*** this, I'm going to bed"

And only one national title to show for it

6’10 pf/c, hits 3’s, can switch to guard perimeter, and awesome weak side shot blocker. That’s a better fit next to KAT than a pure center who can only block shots and do nothing else.

Irrelevant where he was picked. Being picked 3rd doesn’t mean you are just great and fit on any team. We talking about type of player perfect fit next to KAT, and it isn’t Kessler.

Nobody in the league is playing two bigs, with one who can’t defend and one who can only block shots. That’s ridiculous.

How many guys went through 3 teams tonight? Did Duren go from Charlotte to Knicks to Detroit? I don’t think he was the only one.

Juzang really went undrafted after he was projected to be a lottery pick last year. Coming back does hurt.

He was never gonna go that high. People got excited after the tournament, which always happens. Everyone quickly realized he isn’t an NBA prospect, which is why he went back. He woulda been a second round pick last year.

OKC, Houston, and Detroit did well. Jabari and Tari I think fit better with Sengun and Green than Paolo would have. They still need another guard on side of Green.

Detroit got a lob threat and potential defensive stud, and second ball handler. They need another forward.

OKC, if Dieng can shoot, this could be incredible draft while keeping themselves in play for Wembanyama next year.

I think OKC had a horrible draft and gave up a bunch to do it. But I'm not a fan of Holmgren or Dieng.

Houston and Detroit had the best drafts and have a ton more moves they can make. The Rockets have like 8 expiring deals worth around 90M. They also got tremendous value on their picks. Same with the Pistons.

The Spurs are another with a strong draft. Got 3 really good players. It looks like they are preparing to flip Murray and will probably let Walker go as they are stockpiling guards.

This FA period should be a ton of fun..
