We all know who the first 3 picks are will be, but who lands where?

Jabari Smith Jr had been the favorite to go #1 up until last night.

Woj claiming that he likely will.

Seems like a lot of trade chatter and I hope that happens for my own personal entertainment, but I have this hot take/feeling a lot of them stall.

Orlando can't screw this up and get cute.

Smith, then pick up an actual SG or SF the 2nd Round that have an actual defined skill set and can potentially score off the bench.

Drafting "projects" has been their problem the last 10 years.

How far you can move by packaging two high 2nds is something I would explore- if you can get into the bottom of the 1st round.

As long as they don't pick Ivey, they'll be fine. None of the guys this year are elite prospects but all of the top 3 should produce one way or another...it just may be with flaws. Smith is probably the safest bet of the 3 with the lowest ceiling.

A lot of chatter about a Hawks/Spurs swap of Dejounte Murray/John Collins swap with pick involved from Atlanta.

You're way more comfortable with Holmgren then I would be. Smith should easily be 20+ PPG by year 3. If Holmgren avgs over 15 at any point in his career, I'd be shocked.

If Chet develops a real 3PT he can reach God tier status as a unicorn.

Smith and Paulo don't have that ceiling. Paulo's issue is defense as a big in today's NBA. Even if he makes me strides he's still going to likely be a mismatch in the playoffs. His overall offensive game is so far ahead of Smith though it makes up the difference and Smith's initial defensive presence. Smith just appears to be way too limited offensively with a lack of handle and play making

SFP isn’t entirely wrong. There are some concerning stats with Smith regarding his 2 point scoring and his playmaking/shot creation.

Auburn fans have convinced themselves it was all Pearl and Smith is KD vol. 2

Maybe a little, but when all you do is look at numbers, you don't see that Auburn also had Kessler in the paint too.

Can’t wait for the Wiz to trade their draft pick for some overpaid veteran for a “win now” move. If they re up that loser Beal for 5 years I’m taking a break from the franchise until he’s gone. It’ll follow in the footsteps of Wall’s worst contract in the league. The Wiz just can’t help themselves and don’t care about winning. Completely fine with the 7-10 seeds

-would love for them to grab Eason though

It almost seems like everyone is a seller and only a few buyers. It will be interesting to see what happens considering this isn’t really considered a strong draft class.

It will be interesting to see what the Kings do at 4, because you know…they are the Kings.

In all seriousness… what skill is easier to improve/develop at nba level?… shooting or ball handling?

IMO shooting is a more easily developed skill. When you say ball handling, as a skill it’s really the handle with playmaking, which is more of an innate thing that a lot of guys either have it or don’t. Harder to develop how you see the entire court rather than just the skill of shooting. It can be done though, Tatum this past year took a noticeable step with his playmaking and passing.
