This is a terrible plan. It’s a clown show. The BIG season will be a disaster.

If this 5% threshold causes a team to miss two games that team shouldn’t be eligible for the CFP.

With the rules the B1G has put in-place, it is clear they are allowing football while not really allowing football.

Teams are going to be decimated by these rules and the season will be a shitshow.

There's a blue and gold stadium in Toledo that isn't going to be used this Fall.

Governor DeWine should offer that up to UM just to piss off Whitmer.

So from what I understand the threshold is 5% of the active 75 man roster.

7.5% of the entire "team" which I assume means coaches and walk ons included

So having 4 players test positive within the same window will shut down the team... This conference is so retarded

Actually, being that the BIG is only playing 9 games ... if one game gets cancelled that team shouldn’t be eligible.

Put the walk-ons to use and throw a couple Rona parties.

But seriously, those standards are rediculous. At least in Lincoln, younger players live in suites with 3 other players. So one player could get infected, bring it back to his suite, and the whole team would likely be shut down

Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if teams quarantine in hotel rooms during the season

They don’t want to play, but they don’t want to get fired Or see a fan revolt either.

Theoretically, if you have 5% of the team test positive, assume this is 4 guys, on a Saturday game day, then you forfeit that game, and the next 3 games.

Half the season for 4 tests

White House official says, while the president hasn't necessarily reached out to other conferences, he wants "everybody to reopen. It’s not just about the Big Ten. He’s willing to provide resources to anybody reconsidering to play football. ... This is not a political thing.”

White House officials decline to say whether the Big Ten is using federal resources/testing that Trump offered in a call a few weeks ago with B1G commissioner Kevin Warren, but says the president "fulfilled what they were looking for, whether they take it or not."

Every other conference playing figured it out without the President's help. So either the White House is full of shite and really had no impact on this, or the Big Ten is more incompetent than we realized.

So I guess the danger from the corona was greatly exaggerated. Liars.
