I respect it for what it is...the oldest championship in golf. But it's time has passed. No one plays golf like that anymore.

So you disagree that everybody else in the field choked? The leaders other than Tiger and Van Pelt have all shot in the mid 70s. Van Pelt finishes with a string of bogeys when Tiger was struggling.

Golf is 95% mental. Props to Tiger for keeping his head in the game. That's what separates him from the rest of the field majority of the time.

A lot of guys want to play overseas to get ready for the Open. and no it's not overrated. in my opinion it goes

The US open
The Open(only third because it's not American)

The course is damn tough. It's playing fairly close to major championship conditions.
