Because since Babe Ruth wasn't unanimous, they won't ever put anyone in unanimously

I'm hoping it's because they were trying to vote other guys in knowing that Johnson was gonna get in anyway. Same with Pedro.

Some people also left of Pedro and Johnson because they have 10 other guys they want to get in, but the 10 vote limitation would prevent them from voting for those guys. They know Pedro and Randy are going to get in, so they vote for other people. The voters are so stupid though. Anyone who left Pedro or Randy off their ballot, and didn't vote for 10 ppl should have their ballot revoked.

This. They should have their names released publicly and their ballots should be revoked.

Which is why the 10 person limit rule is stupid in the 1st place. I would think that most voters are knowledgable enough to know which guys are going to get in. They also know that enough people aren't going to leave those guys off based on past results and the fact that there are so few people who will use all 10 of their votes.

Also I know a lot of times a home time writer will give a vote to a local guy just so they have one vote and a sign of thanks. Can't do that with this loaded ballot. Although some still do.

Cobb got more votes than Ruth in the initial class. Not sure if Ruth or Wagner was 2nd.

The Veterans Committee didn't elected anyone this year, Tony Oliva and Dick Allen both fell one vote short.

Because MLB hall of fame voters are fricking retarded. Not just in terms of Randy Johnson, more in terms of the general voting habits

Reason number 9,283,572 I hate baseball HOF voters.

Do they designate which idiots won't vote for someone who obviously is deserving or what?

HOF voter Ken Daley wrote an article for NOLA.com and it looks like he's answering people who comment on the article.
