Basketball is/should be undisputed as well. Its Jordan.

I am older than most posters as I keep getting reminded. Bobby Orr was great but Number 99 is the man.
But who was the best running back? Jim Brown was the toughest SOB but he was power while Emmitt was both speed and power. Barry Sanders had the moves and shiftiness. Bo was the best all around athelete but Herschel was the man in college.

I'm no soccer expert, but I'd have to think with what Messi is doing right now that he'd have to be giving Pele some competition
