Observations from the WNBA game on right now

I was clicking through the channels and saw they're televising a WNBA game on a major network. Out of morbid curiousity I turned to ABC for 60 seconds.
In sharp contrast to every other sporting event, every single fan- all 23 of them- were wearing masks. No one, I mean no one, wore them just to get inside only to remove them later. You could argue there's an abundance of social distancing space at a WNBA game but I guess their fans are true believers.
Also, in the 60 seconds I watched I saw two missed layups and two fouls. How is this garbage still a thing?

They are the same people who drive in vehicles by themselves and also jog by themselves....... while fully masked. They are just scared and ignorant people.

Only thing I ever think of when I hear the WNBA mentioned.

it's easier to leave it on when I know I'm just going across the street to another store than to take it off and put it on again.
Hell I wore a n95 + a surgical mask over it for 12 hour shifts with only taking it off for water breaks/lunch... Another 5 minutes ain't the end of the world
