False. In a salary cap league a first round pick is more valuable than almost any player not on a rookie deal.

Not when your QB is on a rookie deal.

You have a good cheap QB. You win now if you can.

Besides Barkley do the giants have anyone on offense? Correct me if I’m wrong but is Sterling Sheppard now their #1?

This is the time of the year when everyone says ‘OMG, *insert team name here* has *insert 4-5 big name players here*, they are going to be UNSTOPPABLE’, then said team proceeds to go 7-9 or worse

There’s more to football than just having big names on your roster. We see this shite every year..

Who cares about giving up a first round pick when the guy you are getting is only 26 years old and already one of the best WRs in the game

Antonio Brown received a contract upgrade when he was traded to the #Raiders. The expectation is that Odell Beckham Jr will want one, as well. Some issues to work out for Cleveland.

They went 5-2 down the stretch last year and looked good on the lines of scrimmage. They accumulated a shitload of draft picks, hired a GM who knew how to use them, and got good really fast.

Nope not at all. Who won the final match of the year and how star studded was their roster?

That’s exactly what they are doing by trading for Odell lol. Nobody they could have drafted at 19 would make the same impact Odell can.

Same thing the Rams are doing/did.

You can only do this kind of stuff when you have a QB on a rookie deal or a lot of your roster on rookie deals like Cleveland.

Evan Engram is one of the better receiving tight ends in the NFL when healthy. I don’t really see why the Giants traded Odell when they now have to probably draft another WR early with one of their picks.
