The astrodome in it's final seasons was awful. Everything behind the seats smelled of stale urine and old stale cigarettes. A lot of cracked concrete and girders.

The stadium we played Arkansas at in Little Rock.

Giants and Padres have very good stadiums

Atlanta Fulton County Stadium was a shithole

Memorial Stadium in Baltimore before Camden Yards. Not only was it a football stadium they played baseball in, it was in a really bad area of Baltimore so you had the added bonus of getting robbed on your way back to your car.

Yeah, forgot about those, and apparently Dodger Stadium is pretty cool despite its age.
But Angels stadium, Oakland Coliseum, Levi's (even though it's fairly new), and the Rose Bowl (despite its history) are all dumps.

Camden is probably the best stadium I've been to
No sooner I post this then Larry Leo puts up an article about fans chasing some big city rat around the stadium.

I find that most college football stadiums I’ve been to are dumps

Tampa, in 1998. And they still play there.

Previous Yankee Stadium was a cramped dump... it had plenty of nostalgia sure, but it wasn't a great fan experience otherwise.

I've seen 5-6 A's games in Oakland with about 3,000 fans in attendance. The place is huge being a football stadium.
The only upside to the place is BART runs right to it from SF, easy ride over.
Padres old park was the same (Jack Murphy?). Enormous, zero fans.

War Memorial in Little Rock is the worst. No fricking clue why Arkansas ever plays there.

I was in Oakland a couple of years ago. It’s not that bad as far as fan experience IMO. Really just an ugly relic from the 60’s. Food was good. Decent sight lines from where I sat.
Tropicana was terrible from a fan perspective. What a dump that place is. I’ve been to one game there. When I arrived at my first seat, the hinge was broken. The usher made me walk to guest services to let them know of the situation, and have them give me another seat. Wouldn’t just let me move over to one of the other 35k seats that were empty there that day. The building was humid. Swamp arse all around…
RFK was bad the first year the Nats played. Lots of rusty hand rails and exposed rebar in some areas. Nationals Park is really nice though.
The Cotton Bowl was really bad about 15 years ago too. Uneven concourses, no relief from the sun for a noon kickoff. Terrible neighborhood.

Use to be accurate.
Angels, Candlestick (needed a blanket to watch the game in July), Oakland Coliseum, LA Coliseum with the old track blocking the field.
SF and LA are obviously better now. Dodger Stadium won't change, like Fenway, love it or hate it.
But Oakland and their multipurpose stadium was the worst in Pro sports.
Nothing like rounding second for a touchdown.
