Mike Trout
I would think it's clearly Trout. The best player in every other major sport has a ring. Trout is not only the current best baseball player, he's the best we've seen since peak Bonds over 15 years ago.

Dez Bryant

The fact that he was getting shut down at the line by backup corners last year and the near complete lack of interest in his services as a free agent indicate he is no longer a big talent.

Trout is only in his 7th full year. Baseball is tough too because one player can’t really win games on their own. A QB can win a game on his own. Same with basketball.

Big name, yes.

Big talent, yes.

But I have a hard time putting a 21 year old on a list about this topic.

I agree, but the odds are he will still be there 10 years from now. Edmonton is a shitshow.

It took Jerry West 12 years to win a title.

It took Walter Payton 11 years to win a title.

And now Ichiro is off to the pasture without one.

Depends on what you consider a "ring".
