ND chooses to be independent, pick their own schedule & network. Yeah cry to the heavens when the rest of college football doesn’t include them in their playoff.

I think the error is McMurphy's.

I wonder how 9-3 USC would have faired against Alabama's schedule this season.
6-6 probably?

Do you guys watch any of these games? USC went on the road to Oregon and Notre Dame. Played Iowa and Michigan. All ranked. Road game at 8-4 Illinois who is a good team. They have some really good players, especially their WR.
Alabama played a very similar schedule to that in reg season, and they also lost by 2 scores to a sub .500 ACC turd that Illinois would kick the shite out of 4 of 5 meetings.

Is nobody from ND smart enough to tell this guy to shut up at this point?

not even in the top 10 of most "dominate" runs in the last 5 years.
Posted on 12/9/25 at 4:26 pm to SPEEDY
There are probably at least 20 teams I think would have gone 10-0 against that schedule

Urban Meyer said it best on air Monday.
Notre Dame will be favored in 9,10,or 11 games every year because of their schedule, so they will win at least 9 or 10 games automatically, and they will be competitive in the one or two games where they play competitive teams.
My advice to Notre Dame is to join a conference. And if you really want to compete for the national championship, join the big 10 or sec. The ACC is a mediocre conference and always will be with the exception of one or two teams. Big 10 is slightly better. SEC is loaded with at least 5 perennial contenders.
Your move ND.

Yep. Be nice to have someone offer a few million for a debate on this with him, available to the public. This is embarassing for the Dame. They obviously don't see this, but it's laughable that someone claims this after two losses.

Give me Vanderbilt over Bama fatigue and ND.
At least it would bring ratings.

Iowa and Michigan couldn’t beat mid level SEC teams.

Iowa is a marginal 4 point underdog in the Blooming onion v #14 Vandy and their Heisman candidate, where the O/U is ~49. The oddsmakers expect Vandy, averaging >39ppg on the season, to score far below their average.
Iowa lost 4 games by 15 total points — had Indiana 13-13 with 1:30 to go on a 3rd and 10 and a missed routine tackle by a fringe NFL DB gave them their first big play that went for a 50 yard TD. Before that, Indiana hadn’t amassed 200 yards passing. Ended up with 337 total yards and 20 points. Guy makes that tackle, they probably punt and it goes to OT. Only tOSU played them better, and only by 1 play.
Oregon needed their QB to make the throw of his life in the tightest of windows against perfect coverage where the DB just failed to turn his head bc the ball came in so low the receiver wasn’t giving indication it was in the air. This after being gifted 2 points on a safety on an errant punt snap to beat Iowa by 2 on a last second FG.

I assume they argue they should get a full share of the playoff revenue instead of having to split it with a conference.
