If Michigan's back and Stanford stays like they are (I'm assuming OU won't fall), that's a very tough schedule. The reason it's tough is because ND can't take a game off. No, it's not 6 ridiculously tough teams (with every other team being mediocre), but it's 3 really tough teams and every other game (besides maybe Wake, depending on where they are then) is at least a bit of a challenge. Literally, any of those teams can beat the Irish if the Irish play badly. It's the anti-Boise schedule.

Yeah, but it would be cool just to see the campus in Norman. I like seeing stadiums and campuses of other major schools.

Oct. 13 STANFORD
Oct. 20 BYU
Oct. 27 at Oklahoma
Nov. 3 PITTSBURGH
Nov. 10 at Boston College
Nov. 17 WAKE FOREST
Nov. 24 at USC
Championship ...

what in the hell makes you think Stanford is just going to be back to "sucking again"
pretty dumb comment
that schedule IMO would be a nice bonus selling point to a HS recruit. How many teams get to play Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Miami, etc all in the same season.

There could easily be 5 ranked teams on that schedule to start the season
I cannot tell why anyone would care who starts where when the season starts.

Oh, I know. I think it would be a cool trip. It was just kind of funny cause you listed Dublin, Chicago, LA, Boston (glamour/big city/tourist destinations)... and Oklahoma.

Last year of the world, and they won't get to make a bowl game...
.. thank God I'm not a ND fan.

You can't be that stupid-- that's a tough schedule for any team.
LSU goes 10-2 with that schedule, at the worst. Probable loss at Norman, OK. and one other somewhere along the line.

What in the hell makes you think they won't? Luck will be gone and Harbaugh might as well.

this whole thread is pretty dumb. Nobody knows how good any of these teams are going to be 2 seasons from now. And like someone else said, who gives a shite about Notre Dame's schedule 2 years from now. I don't give a shite about their schedule this year.

There isnt a sure win that I can see
Michigan St will be back to their normal unranked self by them I'm sure.
BYU is terrible right now.
Navy, Wake, Purdue, Pitt and BC will all be wins.
Very nice schedule though.

ND can beat Navy, Purdon't, BYU, BC, WF, Pitt, spilt against the Michigan schools, and go 7-5 or 6-6 at the worse.
