Please God let my prediction of a 10-2 LSU vs 10-2 ND in the Sugar Bowl come true
I am sure ND would be happy to play a defense that gave up 22 points to Towson and passed 5-16 for 66 yards in the first half against A&M.

You have a decent analysis and then you cap it up with something really stupid like this?

Talk all you want about OU's home record, but look at history and see ND is the only team that has been able to go there and break those winning streaks.
Yes, Bob Stoops is 79-4 at home, but to say ND has no chance of winning at OU simply because OU wins a lot at home is an argument frequently heard on the board. In addition to the other tangible analysis, historically, ND has gone into OU and beaten some of their best teams. I agree this argument is probably a weaker qualitative point than the others, but valid nonetheless.

I don't think you get to make fun of other teams' passing games.
Anyway back to the game, a good match-up to look at is OU's redzone offense (4th in the nation) VS ND's red zone defense (3rd).

I have not watched OU play all year so I am going to stay out of this thread .. the only thing I will say is that anybody that uses last weeks ND offensive performance as a template as to this weeks game is misinformed.

You cant be serious right? ND is on the level of Michigan State

This would suck, but I would love this match-up

Oooh, insulted (poorly) by a butthurt LSU fan. To be expected when you cannot argue facts. Just keep chanting 'tiger bait' incessantly and drinking moonshine till your eyes bleed.

I have no opinion on the spread of the game but I can't wait for them to lose. Last couple of close games just shows how overrated they are as a title team. Bama/Oregon would frick them silly and then cum on their face.

You said ND had a better D than LSU.
If you want to argue facts, then you should note that LSU is #3 in total defense in the NCAA. ND is #6.

Total defense, much like total offense, is a meaningless stat without context, as it has nothing to do with points scored. Especially when compiled against college football juggernauts such as Towson, North Texas, Idaho, Washington and Auburn (2012 version).
How many points does LSU get for allowing the third fewest yards against their murderers row of a schedule? At least Alabama doesn't give up points to their laughable schedule.
Scoring defense is a more meaningful stat, with ND #2 (8.93 pts/game) and LSU nearly a touchdown worse at #10 (14.63 pts/game), against LSU's decidedly weaker schedule.

ND has a better defense than Kansas State, and a better defense than Oklahoma.
The ND offense is not its strength, but certainly better than LSU, and ND's defense is unquestionably better than LSU. ND has played far better competition than OU or LSU.
Don't forget ND haters, ND rested its starting QB last week in preparation for this week, and beat BYU and its #5 total defense with ND's 2 backup QBs. OU struggled against its only good competition (Kansas State primarily, Texas Tech to a lesser extent) this year. ND is equal to KSU at a minimum and arguably better than any team that plays Big 12 (weak) competition.
Don't get fooled by OU's weak schedule, ND did not have the luxury of playing Kansas, Texas, UTEP and a I-AA school, all terrible defenses that would struggle to stop a flag football team.
Talk all you want about OU's home record, but look at history and see ND is the only team that has been able to go there and break those winning streaks.
Someone got a jump on National Say Stupid shite on the Internet Day. There has been a lot of stupid shite said on Tigerdroppings. Your post ranks way up there with them. I shite upon your post.

Another brilliant LSU fan with a well-reasoned and meaningful contribution to the thread.
Grab your shrimp boots and moonshine and head to the tiger baitin' party with CP3LSU25 this weekend.

You're dumb if you think Notre Dame's defense is better than LSU's. beating shitty big 10 teams doesn't mean your defense is great. You have 2 players that would start on our defense.
