kuzma is a fine young piece that doesnt have a high ceiling but should have an ok floor. i wont act like he makes the lakers the best trio in the league, but the overall sentiment by the OP is pretty correct. its pretty bizarre the way people are acting over the lakers right now.

Meanwhile game one of summer league and Zion is hurt at half. Boy might be fragile. Oh let’s not forget his 4 for 9 includes 3 dunks. His shot is ugly. NBA defender will see that coming a mile away.

I would say overall, just from the Rockets, CP3, Gordon, and Capela have a better overall impact on the floor than Kuzma.
Kuzma is a bad defender who shoots a lot and requires a lot of shots. Hes a forward version of Lou Williams.

There is no big 3 in the nba this year, nobody has one. There are big 2s and the Lakers have the best big 2 and by default the best top 3 because the difference between the threes are so small compared to the top 2.
