I just don’t see why his feelings would even be hurt based on what he has said. Whether trolling or genuine, he’s been maybe the most consistent.
Obviously there are some feelings from both sides I don’t quite understand
I actually do like this topic. I don’t watch a lot of games, but I keep up. I did as a kid with the paper and still find myself going out of may way to listen to LSU games rather than watch.

DPG is probably lying. For years now when Lester has gone off the rails like today I’ve brought the incident up. Lester has never mentioned what DPG is alleging so I’ve never heard it before. We even had an exchange earlier this year where Lester was making fun of a deceased family member of mine not knowing she was and he didn’t even bring it up during that interaction. So like I said earlier either DPG is lying, which he often does, or Lester was using an alter when the incident happened which is possible because in that thread a lot of posters were hammering Lester so pulling a stunt like that was really his only way out of it.

Well, Speedy has posted the two dudes that had posters on my wall as a kid, guys that created these stats that are being chased, and they are saying don’t consciously try to hit a HR….it seems obvious to me.

As we said earlier, trends tend to be misinterpreted by certain fans. A team has success, the copycat nature of sports poaches from that team which creates trends in the sport but unless the success is duplicated that trend isn’t necessarily a positive for the sport overall. Box score fans only see a trend growing so they immediately think it’s a progression for the sport. Thats the rub

So after answering a few times and only when your ignorance is exposed you claim I’ve changed the subject. As usual you’re doing exactly what you’re accusing. And yes you’re well aware of the other thing but only now, since your arguments have failed are you claiming you didn’t know about it or it’s not real which is just another example of you lying about a thread easily found in our post history. I don’t care what anyone says. The most important stat for a hitter is BA with runners in scoring position. Period.

Good point, OBP is important but you’re not scoring or moving people without hits. For some reason these idiots think doubles, triples and homers aren’t hits but then again look at who these posters are.
