Good Lord. How I read the things you type is exactly the same, regardless of whether I'm imagining you as white or black. Vitriol is vitriol. Stupid is stupid.

The rule of law should apply to everyone and everyone equally. Your experiences as a black man have absolutely nothing to do with this. Get that through your head.

You are a clown. Get it through your own head that there is predigest all around. My experiences have a lot to do with this because unlike you I know what it means to be black, be a starter in college and get in trouble but just immaturity and fights nothing heinous like rape allegations.

You on the other hand know aboslutely nothing about any of this.

I mean nothing. You're straight arm chair.

And I would also add that it might not be a bad idea to make "Fatal Attraction" required viewing for incoming freshmen recruits. Not sure the University would like that either, though.

I get what you're saying. But I doubt Meggs would be ok if he thought the police bungled the investigation so badly that it made it harder to press charges. I think he'd plow ahead to prove a point. He has been very publicly critical of the police handling of the case, calling it a "cluster" on the record.

That is the thing though. I don't see how a person can acknowledge how horribly the case has been handled yet not ask why this happened?

There is a reason for every action; what is the reason for it being a "cluster"?

The investigator could have thought he was protecting everyone. Protecting JW from a very questionable allegation. Protecting the girl from the backlash she now is getting. Protecting FSU from negative attention. And with the best of motives, he fricked it up.

No one is saying the case has been handled perfectly. TPD and other departments frick up investigations daily. That also doesn't mean there is a cover-up, like you have been incessantly saying for the past two weeks.

That's why there's protocol. So when a case becomes a big to-do publicly, you say "we followed protocol to the letter." They can't do that here. And there will be consequences.

Here is the the thing, you nor anyone else has a clue whether or not this case was handled the wrong way. They could have done everything right. The only people saying it was handled improperly are the accusers. How the hell do we know it wasn't handled like every other case, because the accuser and media say so?

Uh no he doesn't have to do shite but protect hiself with the best lawyers possible.

It's the state's burden in a court of law to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. No ifs, ands or buts about that.

How can YOU possibly know this? What if Meggs comes out tomorrow and says the case was being followed to a T and then the victim asked for it to be dropped cause she was a liar.

Meggs has already said the police investigation was (and I quote) "a cluster." He said that on the record. He's not going to say "jk jk everybody, super job by TPD" tomorrow.

Uh, short bus kids shouldn't make fun of anyone.

Especially if you're one of those know nothing arm chair fans with zero experience.

Are you simple? That is all I am asking for. That the girl and him get a fair trail to sort this out. That the corruption of the police not dictate justice for either party.

This seemed to happen recently. The state of Florida decided to have a trail just to appease some people despite all evidence pointing to not guilty unless you were black or some white apologist.

We don't know the details and we probably never will. My guess is that the charges are dropped and the record is sealed to protect the accuser. Everything will just be speculation.

I have no response. I can only cringe. I'm seriously expecting stats and a selfie next.
