They will stall and stall. Right now I think they know they have to at least charge him even if he can some how prove his innocence to allow both to have their day in court. They know the out come so will pretend they are handling so much that they can't possibly complete this till after FSU wins the ACC.
The media pressure is the reason they keep coming with this weak "updates" for how much time this process will take.
The pressure would need to be really turned up on a national level to get this guys to move before Saturday. If it isn't, they'll continue to make excuse and deflect because they know they'll be giving the media want they want; a trial. All the while making sure they collude to secure what the University and fans desire; a national title birth.

Stalling tactic.
If they're going to charge him they want to wait as late as possible to insure he is able to play in the ACC championship game so FSU without a doubt gets into the National Championship game.
I don't see any other treason they are stalling. If they have all this evidence that proves he is innocent they wouldn't be holding this thing this long with statements every couple days attempting to quell the media's (people's) desire for a resolution.
That doesn't necessarily mean he is guilty, that just means they know they have enough evidence to put this into court but they won't want to hurt the University and surrounding businesses financially.

Relax dude.
This isnt about proving who is right or etc.
And you can do it in a way thats less annoying if he's not charged tomorrow.
This is a serious case. A lot of posters here have daughters. So of course people are going to be sensitive about this issue.
Whether charged or not. No reason for "bragging" and calling out names over something like this.

Yea I agree with Rittdog....
Even if hes innocent, he was being investigated for rape.
And this was a very sensitive case. Your just acting like a douche throwing it in peoples face that hes going to most likely get off.
We get it. Your excited. You should be. But no point in acting like a child. Just say " I told yall" and be done with it.

Either young or incredibly dumb. Those are my estimations of what is happening. Especially funny you'd quote them when you've been saying the case would be dropped every day for two weeks (never did), wrongly accused her of being the girl with him in the picture at the club (wasn't her) and just posted false crap daily from poor "insiders".
I bet you're too stupid to see the hypocrisy and irony there. You are literally the worst and dumbest poster on the rant and you don't even support a team in the conference.

Please, let's stop the bullshite. A majority of posters have thrown Jameis under the bus in this thread. And for being such a sensitive issue, why has this thread been an absolute joke?
I have no problem calling out other posters when their motives are obvious and they are spewing bullshite. YStar might be the worst offender.

Your inability to distinguish between people asking legitimate questions about a serious subject and people who "hate FSU" has greatly contributed to the "joke" that is this thread.

I've read this whole thread (
) and I don't have a dog in this fight...
Sooo, some of you are so butthurt and have been trying to throw this kid un der the bus from day one...TheOcean, IMHO, has just brought PERSPECTIVE and the others (already mentioned) have been trying to convict him just b/c...
Having said that, this kid won't be charged. Meggs would have asked him to come in under radar, arrest him, and then held the presser the next day.
IMO, the kid and the girl prob had sexting or other communicades AFTER the alleged rape and totally blew her case out the water.

He doesn't care. Football trumps all.
Maybe if something like this happened to a loved one of his he'd have better perspective. I know without a doubt if AJ McCarron was in this exact situation with all the cover ups and collusion I wouldn't blindly support him because I want to win football games. I would also hope the University and the staff distance themselves if he refuses to speak.
The fact of the matter he is if any person here had a family member hours after the incident report being raped, get intimidated by police to drop the case, with dna checking out and signs of rough behavior from pictoral evidence we'd at least want the chance to see the guy in court. Let him prove he is innocent.
No that dumbass though.

Is that different than you saying he didn't do it without knowing any more than anyone else? It's not. I'm going to assume you're under 25 and give you a pass.

You can't have a 90 page thread that's filled with 80%+ bullshite and expect to have an honest, intelligent discussion.

He said he doesnt remember the "Great FSU teams"
which is why I give him a pass...
Young, dumb and on the internet.
That was me as well.
Now I'm just a professional troll (real sports topics)

You can't spew bullshite and then get high and mighty about someone else's.

So the announcement is tomorrow?
I don't think you schedule ahead of time to announce you're charging someone with rape. I'm no expert, but it sounds like he's getting away cleanly.
That won't be the end of the media frenzy, but it'll settle things for now.

TheOcean I am 100% with you. Ystar, bass, league champs and many bama fans have been a lynch mob in this thread. The Fsu fans have actually been reasonable here. It is the guilty until proven innocent crowd that has been unreasonable
