I dont know if that source is legit.
I did read from a poster with inside info that they were seen in public together before she identified him. And that they had ongoing relations for a while until he told her to take a hike.

I dont know if its legit either..
But yea...some people have claimed they've known each other. Which makes things all the more interesting. Still doesnt mean he didnt rape her. But it adds another layer to the story.

I don't get the connection between one night stands and being insecure with women. You'll have to explain that part.
The two are not connected. The insecurity is linked to you feeling the need to jump on the side of the accused and not the victim. I'm not saying false rape claims aren't made but it is interesting to me that people like you jump to the conclusion that the girl is always lying. It's that mentality that could persuade an actual victim from coming forward.

There is not a girl at lsu who would go with a friend to Mett's apt and haVE no idea who it was. Because in my opinion, the whole night would start as, "Hey Becky, we got invited to go to JAMEIS WINSTONS APT!!!! THE FUTURE STUD QB!!!"

Does he beat this case?
I think in police report the accuser says attacker is 5'9 to 5'11. If that's the case, a defense lawyer will have a big place to start needling her story.

I agree with you but that still doesn't mean a rape did not occur. We won't know until all the facts come to light.

This case is now about consent only.

Yeah, the height discrepancy doesn't mean anything now. Defense lawyer could just say the victim was suffering from emotional and physical trauma, and could not accurately measure the assailants height. And that is very believable.

Some of y'all are funny...just because they knew each other doesn't mean he still didn't rape her.
Posted on 11/21/13 at 9:54 am to BuccWildBammer
You seem to have made up your mind already that he did rape her and there was a cover up. Why?

When it comes out that they knew each other or had an ongoing relationship, the terrible identification will be huge

I hope I haven't given the impression I think the girl here is lying. I don't. I have no idea what happened.
My posts have been about false rape claims because the thread morphed into a discussion about the significance of false rape claims, and I think they're a very serious thing, and that they do happen quite a bit. I also think it's an issue the significance of which rarely gets publicly discussed (because it isn't necessarily politically correct to do so), but that really needs to be.
My posts definitely haven't been about false rape claims because I'm assuming the accuser here is lying.

THIS will be the most imporant thing in this case.
If she knew him beforehand..
But yet gave a false description....then it shoots down some of her credibility.
It has to have been a one night stand for that to make sense. Unless that description was of the witness.
There are so many layers to this...
Certainly a 30/30 in a bout 20 years.

Yeah. I think I read she still chilled with him after. That will pretty much put this story to bed, if true.

Yup, her credibility will be shot.

just don't put it past him...we have an acquantaince, well 2 actually from Hueytown

quote:This is what I find interesting. If they were acquaintances and knew each other before, then there is no possible way she would say he is between 5'9"-5'11". I understand the DNA already shows they were together, but it still makes the height discrepancy really weird if they knew each other before
