Yup, her credibility will be shot.

The police probably wrote down the wrong description while they were trying to get her not to testify.

Having two acquaintances from a town in Alabama isn't enough reason to draw inferences of guilt (or innocence) in this matter based on the limited information publicly available.

Not saying he's guilty...I don't know & not trying to infer anything

I'm sure everyone will find out the truth

This is what I find interesting. If they were acquaintances and knew each other before, then there is no possible way she would say he is between 5'9"-5'11". I understand the DNA already shows they were together, but it still makes the height discrepancy really weird if they knew each other before

Only thing I can think of is that its the description of the Witness.

Other than that...yea if they've known each other....that doesnt make sense.

Ok. I have just seen a few of your posts and they read like you infer guilt and cover up without much uncertainty in your mind.

What I find interdasting is how anyone thinks these keystone cops would be able to create an accurate police report.

Now that there is DNA evidence linking the two, I don't think the inaccurate physical description matters as much.

But the inaccurate description screams "I got mad at him and made the call, but now don't want to follow through." Especially if she did know him before the incident. If she knew and had any familiarity with Winston before the incident (and this can be proven) describing him as 5'9" will be a disaster for the prosecution.

I know no details, but looking at "evidence" in the media makes one think the prosecution isn't going to have an easy time of it.

There is a witness and DNA, people have been convicted on FAR less!

It could scream that or it could be other things.

it will certainly hurt her credibility, but we don't know that she did know him prior to the alleged incident.

If what I've heard that state is trying to prove aggravated rape charge that means there is sufficient evidence for that, they also took pics of her "injuries" at the hospital

Too bad he did decide to go to LSU. He'd still get one more strike before any true punishment was handed out.

I'm just trying to figure out why every rape story on here always ends up with a bunch of dudes worried about being falsely accused of rape?

because it takes almost nothing to get this other than having consensual sex with a girl

quote:

Unless you are putting yourself in situations that could be construed as such why do you care?

"construed as such" means...what?

here is the issue, and i've seen this before. a girl who TRULY wants to be evil can wait 3-5 days, claim rape via drugs, claim she was ashamed and that's why she waited, and there is pretty much no way to prove she is lying.

I find it highly conceivable that his g/f was coming to town and he basically told her to take a hike. She got mad and called the cops, cried rape. And she knew what the room mate looked like because she obviously was there before. If she was drugged there's very little chance she could identify one of them much less both. And who the hell rapes someone in their own apartment?! This is fricking stupid and obvious what went down.

alleged vitim

and the whole reason why there are doubts in these cases are the PIECE OF shite girls who lie about being raped, or claim "regret rape"

it is THEIR FAULT that these responses occur

those TERRIBLE PIECE OF shite girls detract legitimacy and concern for actual rape victims
