They're not even threatening to hit the ball hard. The only reason we have a run other than Ross' home run is because the Giants puked on themselves on a routine ground ball.
They are definitely not playing the same way they did all season long like Maddon said they needed to.
Hopefully Lester comes through Thursday night. Unfortunately, it's not just about how well he's going to pitch.

It was good base running. It looked like Pence was gonna catch it. That ball was hit high. He wouldn't have been thrown out at first had it been caught.
The ones saying run all the way to second. That just gives up the double play had it been caught.
