People always talk about suffering Cubs fans-- but what about Giants fans-- the pain of odd numbered years must be starting to sting, surely the deserve another title.

I'm alive.

My damn internet cut out right before KB hit that homer in the 9th.

Hopefully today is a better day for the Cubs.

Yeah, I'm only running on 3 hours of sleep. This is going to be brutal. Gonna need a nap after work to be able to watch the game tonight.

Let's hope the middle of the order is getting some sleep right now. frickers are letting the pitching staff carry them in this series.

You guys, are we in the truth tree...with the nest? Because I have a confession...a little tear came out when KB hit the HR. The fiancee saw it.

Nah. If this was the old clutch postseason Giants, they would have closed it out in the ninth. The Giants blowing yet another late inning lead makes me believe this game is nothing more than a reprieve for them. The Cubs will close it out tonight.

This same shite happened last year.... ICE COLD bats. I've said it all season what puts this team over the top is their offense, their pitching can be matched by postseason teams. If we're gonna do anything this postseason it's gotta be behind the bats and once again it's not happening

Keep in mind that the Giants have a good pitching staff. They are no slouches.

You do have a point, though. The Cubs needed to add more runs to their lead, but they couldn't string anything together.

We need better AB's from Rizzo, Zobrist and Heyward.

I mean the other team wants to win too. I think the offense was fine in the first 5 innings. They too Bumgarner deep into counts, and they hit some hard balls right at people. That happens. So as far as the bats being ice cold; I don't agree with that. I think they just need to continue to be patient. It's all about coming up with a timely hit. Rizzo is the only one I'm seeing that is pressing at the plate right now...not sure what his deal is.
