Maddon wanted Almora for his defense with the spacious outfield in San Francisco. I think Szczur gets the nod in the NLCS (knocks on wood)...if they make it.

And Coghlan has the nudes.

it might. they actually said before the playoffs started that they could use him more because of the extra off days. i realize if they don't hold on there isn't an off day, but if they do then he'd be fine.
