Tha game actually turned out to be good. Thought it was gonna be a blowout, and instead it came down to the final possession. Good times, great series.
Dobby is clearly playing over his head, but not significantly so. He's not going full Halak. He has good numbers but not OH MY GOD! numbers. He's not carrying the Stars by his lonesome. But the Stars are hoping he doesn't turn back into a pumpkin for another two weeks.

Oh shite. NHL.Com reporting our Captain may be back tonight!!! Guess I shouldn't get that excited till I see him skating. A lot of people forget this guy was second in points this year for us. Wonder what line they put him on?

Pens trading Horny hits hard. Such a vital cog to back to back cups. Literally won us the Preds series. Sad day even if it was necessary.

This series will be fun. I'm just glad Tampa finally started fighting back in the second and punished the penalties in the first with the PP.
Anyone else think the officials were inconsistent? Saw quite a few bad no calls for both teams, and some of the penalties were weak. Need officials to be consistent. I know we got away with a high stick that should have made it a 5 on 3 for like 38 seconds.

Those "fluky" goals Tampa has gotten all playoffs.
It's called hockey. If you send it at the net, you get goals. Put bodies in front. Just like Dallas did their second goal. Calling them fluky goals is crazy. I mean how were they fluky?
The first was set up by a perfect pass by Kuch. Even if it's not deflected it has a great chance of going in with Point being point blank in front of the net. Score 2 was once again amazing passing with the pass cross ice giving Palat a huge open net. Not fluky at all. Goal 3 was a clean one timer. Not fluky. You just made up the fluky part to excuse the loss. Teams as good as Dallas and Tampa will score dirty at times.
Add in Tampa had some barely miss the net, as did Dallas. You could easily argue those misses were "fluky" misses.

Wow, attacking the net and scoring goals.
I remember when my team used to do that.

Imagine being injured for 7 months and your first game back is in the Cup Finals and you score within 10 minutes.

Maybe if we lose the next three Bowness won't be back. The only bad thing about us getting this far means more likely he's back

Not only that..but the goal is an insanely tough angle.
