There is no way in hell the Caps should blow up the team canfan. They just need to get rid of 2 wingers and 1 defenseman. Oh and get rid of that dumbass coach. Great regular season coach but holy shite, he can't adjust at all in the postseason. I'm still sort of in shock.

Not really. 3-4 players is regular roster turnover in an offseason.

Pretty interesting game to start the series. SJ converted two PP's while Detroit got nothing from theirs. Aside from the 3 goal onslaught (in just a little over a minute total), Detroit did a pretty good job of containing the SJ attack. Although it was a relatively high scoring game, neither team got a ton of shots on net. Detroit was only able to manage five in the 3rd and one of those went in. Nabokov has proven to be vulnerable under pressure in the past, but you've got to get more shots than that. SJ did a good job against Colorado as far as limiting shots, but I expected (and still expect) Detroit to get more on net. This was definitely a more important game for SJ than Detroit from a mental standpoint and this should give them some confidence. I still think Detroit will take game 2 however.

Same here, but in the opposite way. I hate Crosby (but love Malkin) and want the Pens to lose. But I really hate the Habs style of hockey. Just detest it. I like Cammallieri and Lapierre, but I can't in good conscience root for a team that plays such an ugly, ugly style. Screw them and Boston.

I've watched hockey a while...but still am relatively unfamiliar with "styles" of play. I know, offense/defense...yeah yeah yeah.

The Devils of the 90's were heavy on that nuetral zone trap, right? What's the new thing today? Out of the teams that are left, what do they "run" so to speak?
