Agreed. He had cap to play with this year, a first place team, and essentially did nothing. They had no depth scoring behind Raymond, Debrincat, and then Larkin got hurt. Kane was serviceable but they can't rely on him like it's ten years ago.
Maybe he swung for the fences on a Quinn Hughes trade, struck out, and had no backup plan.

The Ducks and Mammoth have the chance to do the funniest thing...
If LA wins out or passes the Ducks (very possible given Ducks' recent form) they could still get Pacific 3, playing Edmonton in Round 1
Or LA could pass Utah for WC1 and play Edmonton division champs Round 1.

OTL point needs to be done away with, playoff format needs to be scrapped. Western conference is 1v8, 2v3, 4v7, 5v6 in the standings. So stupid to penalize the Central because the Pacific was less than mediocre.
