Avs have some guys out injured, Landy, Lehkonen, Colton, and LOC. They’ll be back for playoffs. Although LOC hasn’t played all season.

Correct. LOC is close. He might play Friday; Sunday at worst.

The other three are coming BEFORE playoffs.

The Avs haven’t even been able to play with Kadri the way they want to. Just wait.

The Stars are absolutely surging while the Avs are sputtering. Not good. One of these teams is your Cup winner.

Avalanche aren’t just injured, they’re missing 4 of their top 6 wingers. Don’t even mind you look at the record with Landy in the lineup.

2 point lead for the division. Game in hand. Getting healthy.

Not worried.

Lmao and Stars are missing multiple starters including Rantanen. I’m sure AVs remember him huh?

I understand your MO is to be a douche, and that’s okay.

Avalanche are down the Captain, do-it-all Lehkonen, Colton who bounces from the top to third line, and LOC who is ridiculously important as a bottom 6 guy. All wingers.

A bunch of AHL guys have been playing for the Avs since the break, and there are expectations that on this road trip we will be getting guys back. And yet, Avalanche were the better team last night, but that’s just how hockey goes sometimes.

Youre still looking up at us with an extra game played.

That was a great game last night with Stars getting all the puck luck per usual

Even with the SO loss, I'm more encouraged with the way the Avs played - that was domination

As long as they can get healthy and not fall into traps of inferior teams over the next few weeks they should be able to maintain the division at least until the final meeting with Dallas.

The stars were the better team a week ago and the Avs won.

Mikko, Hintz, Seguin, Faksa > Lehkonen and Colton and the other 2 randos you guys are missing

Think the Cup Winner is coming out of Dallas, Colorado, or Minnesota. All 3 are loaded.

Our Captain is a rando? Good job showing you know nothing

Mostly agree - but I could see a good east team like Tampa or Carolina staying healthier in the playoffs and nipping the West champ in the finals. Also don't underestimate some stupid luck of Vegas/Edmonton going through the joke of the Pacific bracket.

I don't follow the Avs because I only know them from beating them in the playoffs.

Mikko is better than all of those guys combined tho so keep using the our guys are hurt excuse!

OH FYI I actually live in DFW and you probably jumped on the AV's bandwagon when Joe Sakic and Peter Forseberg were wrecking shop!

Actually even later. After the USMC and living in the SE my entire life, I randomly moved out to Colorado to try something different. Always had liked playoff hockey, but never had a team to root for or had some obsession about it.

When the Avs made the playoffs for the first time in a hot minute in 2018, I went to Games 3/4. Instantly hooked. Signed up for season tickets while going to school at CSU (despite definitely not being able to afford them ), had them until getting married and having kids. Have been absolutely obsessed with hockey since at all levels. Have season tickets for the FPHL team here in Baton Rouge.

Not like any of that really matters, but I would venture to say that if you don’t know Landeskog and that he’s out for the Avalanche (and what that means for us) - you’re more likely the casual fan I used to be. And that’s okay!

Coming in here pumping out your chest based on where you live (or how long you’ve “watched” hockey/your team) is stupid.

I can say without a doubt that I’ve been to more SCF games for my team than you in the timeframe I’ve been a fan, and I’m pretty content with that.

I know who he is. Rantanen singled handily whooped the AVS in the playoffs. and we are missing that dude vs whoever you guys got and its not really comparable.

Now if Mckinnon was hurt that's a different story.

Ah, yes. The guy who knows all about hockey, yet can’t spell the best player in the world’s name correctly.

The problem is that they’ll have to go through each other, and two of them will be eliminated before the conference finals.

How much gas will the Wild have if they go seven games to slip past Dallas in the first round, then turn around and go another seven against the Avs?

Same thing for either the Avs or Stars, whichever doesn’t win the division.

I'm always worried about Dallas. It's been burned in me since 1999.
But yeah, we should have our roster back soon. Still, I will be on Max hockey anxiety if those two have a series.

The biggest change for the Stars heading toward the playoffs this season --- their coach.

Oh, no doubt. No different than Bednar’s woes an inability to get past the second round until 22.

No one back tonight for the Avalanche, but Bednar said one guy is going to be back Sunday if all goes to plan. Seems like LOC given two straight practices working on the PK.

All the others skated this morning. It sure would be nice to shake off the injury bug we’ve had in 2026.
