That is the kind of game that leads to coaching changes in the off season.

Brunette is in his first year and should be a COTY finalist since his team was in a rebuild. Nobody thought they would make the playoffs. Doesn’t excuse what happened there but he’s done a great job.

Can’t ask for two better games at home

Was there for both, and that was about as awesome of a home stand as I can remember - particularly given Denver was very iffy on the way this team would perform this series (and even moreso after Game 1).

I also lost a hat after Val’s hatty, well worth not seeing it again after just buying it Thursday at the Rockies game lol

Rangers win. They’re the better team. I’d love to go to MSG if they and the Av’s make it to the finals.

Someone should be fired if the NHL ever stops airing games on TNT.

Rangers were definitely the better team. Caps have a severe lack of talent but proud of them for this season. Lapi is a future star though and future 1C. The entire team just looked out of gas from that playoff push and I expected a little more fight from them which was sad to see. Ovechkin was just floating around out there like he was in a beer league hope he works hard this offseason to go for the goal record next season before he retires off to his mother country.

Used to always cheer for the Preds as a neutral observer but them ruining my bets yesterday the way they did is enough to make them an enemy for life have them in a series bet too. Vancouver is a paper tiger too and I feel Nashville has been the better team.

Think it’s the Avs or winner of the Knights/Stars series that wins it all though. Avs goaltending does scare me a bit though.

The Kraken just fired their head coach, Dave Hakstol. Can’t say I’m surprised. The team lacked intensity from the get-go in 2023/24.

Bolts scored about a minute after the Panthers just now. Panthers up 2-1 late in the second.

Two goals disallowed. I thought the first one was a good overturn. That last one was close, but I agree with you.

First goal that got disallowed was basically correct I think, but Tampa got hosed on that second one. That looked like a good goal to me. Cerelli was fighting for position with the defender and barely skirted the blue paint. It was just a screen more than outright interference. Bad call, FLA very lucky to still have the lead

Over half of the coaches in the league have been fired in the last year.

Lightning dominates the third and Florida plays scared and then capitalize on the first chance they get. Hockey is cruel
