The play was called for Goedert, so it went to Goedert. Hurts doesn’t make reads. It’s first option or run, and you can’t run on 4th and 11.
The deeper dig in behind Goedert was open, and even on the same sightline. Shouldn’t be a tough read for an NFL QB.

Mike Florio on Sunday Night Countdown a few minutes ago said that he talked to an executive of a team looking for a HC and he told Florio that he expects multiple top program college HC's to make the jump to the NFL.
