I was on board with keeping Fields and trading that pick for a haul. This game by Williams has not changed my mind.

Oh, and looky there. Justin Fields is 2-0 as the Steelers QB.

No he was tackled on the scramble. Idk why it wasn’t running.

Justin Fields is not good but he’s probably further along than Williams.

Williams has a cannon but he's inaccurate and has zero composure. He never seems to be in control.

Maybe Fields needed to get the hell out of Chicago and go to a franchise that is stable?

I guess we'll find out as this season rolls along.

Justin Fields stats today:

13-20, 117 yds, 1 TD

They beat the Broncos 13-6.

Last Week:

17-23, 156 yds

They beat the Falcons 18-10.

The Steelers ain't winning because of him. They're winning because they've played the two of the worst teams in the league.

Still young and has a ton of potential but not sure about his demeanor/body language. Looks like all he has over Daniels is pure arm strength. JD meanwhile has great poise and attitude.

Well, JD has experience taking over a bad team and leading them from LSU. Caleb doesn't have that experience.

Will be interesting to watch as he either takes over or just withers like so many Rookies do.

I'd hope so.

He's got a four year head start on CW.

USC wasn’t lighting the world on fire. Their experiences are similar.

Was at the game and started to see why that’s the case. CW was a hair slow on 4-5 throws bc he was waiting to see an opening before letting it go. As a result, he got blindsided a few times. Then, the eyes started dropping too fast & his feet never got set.

Apparently Mixon is bitching about the hip drop tackle, like sucks you got injured with it, but I'm going to go out on a very, very small limb and say he's injured someone by dropping his shoulder, so that should be illegal too.

We’ll only one of them is explicitly against the rules right now.

Bears should have taken the two best offensive linemen they could find instead of Caleb and Odunze.

All you can say so far is I don't think he's turning the ball over, so that's a plus

Bears returned 4 starters on their oline and were widely considered a top 15 unit in the league heading into the season. The narrative that Caleb doesn’t have enough help is so laughable.

Playcalling for the bears has been bad. They can’t run the ball worth a damn
