You simply can't be a fricking CB running step for step with the best WRs on earth while shitfaced. Or if he was, it'd have been obvious after like 2 plays.

Seriously imagine the heart rate while keeping up with WRs while drunk.

I’ve never been in NFL type shape, but even when I was younger and in good shape, just running up a bball court once while drunk made me feel like I was going to have a heart attack.

I see his team filing suit trying to recoup what they paid him though, arguing that he didn’t give his “best effort” and defrauded them
He doesn't have the money to satisfy that judgment, even if the team got one, and it would be such a terrible PR look, even an NFL owner wouldn't do it.

A former Colts player from the 2000s used to mention stuff like this every now and then on FB.

Quinten Jammer, though, that dude had all the tools to be a multi-Pro Bowl and maybe even multi-All Pro pick.

Maybe stuff that this that separated him from the Champ Baileys and Sam Madisons of his era.

I feel confident in saying that the NFL has become so much more advanced since then, it wouldn't be possible to do this today, and it just shows how far the game has come.

For example I have no doubt Ovechkin has had a couple beers before a game before or some of that Russian vodka.

Never forget Chester Marcol scoring a game winning TD as a kicker and bursting into tears while coked out of his mind wearing horn rimmed glasses and a single bar face mask

Hollywood Henderson was doing blow in the locker room before and during halftime of games while playing for the Cowboys, according to his biography.
