First off, this would be a policy after the fact.

Companies institute new policies all the time

Why? Because you said so? The NFL is a business. Teams have owners. Owners have employees that get paid to perform a service. Just like every other single company in this country.

The thing is, nobody protesting are saying they hate the country. In fact it's really the opposite. Their goal has been the same as Trumps(albeit with completely oppoisite ideals) which is to make this country truly great

Maybe the NFL players can pet their unicorns, too?

They impose a "stand or find another job" policy, and you get a Brady, Rodgers, Beckham, Von Miller deciding to sit, watch how fast that gets forgotten.

beckham has already decided to take a season long knee...ankle, whatever

And uh, not just no...hell no. Most NFL players are more dependent on their next pay check than you realize

Monday night’s match-up between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears was the least watched NFL game this season, down 17% from last week and reaching a regular season low for the league and ESPN

That's easily explainable because the finals of Cupcake Wars- Columbus Day Edition was airing at the same time. There's no problem.

My wife had dancing with the stars on so I watched that instead. The women are fine as hell and I was more entertained than an NFL game.

The first political statement is the playing of the national anthem.

Then no one should have had a problem with Trump colluding with Russia. I mean if the flag and anthem are political

The kneelers have difficulty explaining their goal, but it's not hard to believe that the liberals who cheer the kneeling aren't big fans of this country.

At the end of the day, kneeling is just kneeling and it doesn’t accomplish shite. You want to accomplish shite go out and improve your community! Draw attention to the plight that way, work and engage with others to make a difference and gain understanding. Stop politicizing our sports like this and killing the business or you’ll incur the consequences! This isn’t rocket science people lol

Blacks commit more violent crime than the rest of the country combined despite making up only 13% of the population. And somehow they still only get shot by the cops half as often as whites.

If they want to make the country great again they should start protesting their own dumbass family members.

Just how the hell did they expect to win a culture troll war against the guy who successfully trolled his way to the Presidency of the most powerful country in world history?

Trump doesn't want this conversation to end. Mainly because it takes away from the culture war he so desperately wants at the moment.
Exactly and the "culture" war going on right now is basically guaranteeing him reelection.

Pro athletes have done this for years, they have given back to the community. Anyone who says otherwise cannot be reasoned with.

Agree here but not necessarily just about this National Anthem thing. The NfL had already become some National Enquirer side show with the pointless story lines like Deflate Gate and this poorly handled Zeke Elliot thing. Its a circus and Roger Goodell is the ringmaster.
