You are complaining about the 2nd 11-10 game in NFL History?

That's crazy as hell there have only been 2 NFL games with an 11-10 score in history.

That is really is amazing.

After being a hardcore college fan for so many years I’ve slowly switched my preference to nfl the past few years. Still love college but it’s the same 4-6 teams in the playoff every year. Nfl seems to have wild and crazy games every Sunday, I absolutely love nfl sundays. Plus you add the addition of fantasy football and it’s tough to beat. And it’s definitely not predictable. Who had the jags beating the shite out of the chargers or the colts upsetting the chiefs?

Explain to me how the NFL is boring. Underdogs win every week and comeback all the time trailing 14+. In the NCAA the underdogs rarely every win. The upperdog always comes back to win. The NFL is the far superior product over NCAA and the NFL 1000% has its flaws. Just look at the Clemson Wake Forrest game.

They can't. Theyre just mad because of politics. Even though colleges support the same shite. And it's the same players. It makes no sense. Complain about the corruption if anything. The quality of product on the field is literally the last thing you should complain about vs college. But what did I expect? We're not exactly talking to high level thinkers here.

people are always saying the jets/jags/colts are dogshit but you watch the games and it hits you that even these "dogshit" teams are full of the most incredible football players on the planet. So anyone can lose on any Sunday if they make a couple of mistakes. That makes the NFL compelling to me. And college football doesn't have that parity but there have been weird losses this season too. James Madison transitive property plot is pretty cool

I cant think of a single storyline that compelled me today

The storylines are fabricated and denial of NFL fans is the same as it was for wrestling fans in the ‘80s, but the storylines were there. Two of the best QBs to ever play the game. Bills go from ESPN talking about an undefeated caliber team to losing to the perennial lowly Dolphins, Lamar Jackson v. defensive genius Belichick, Wentz throws for 300+ in first two games only to be sacked six times by his former teammates and cough up a fumble in the first half, $245 million man’s offense only has two TDs going into week three (and only scores one, but somehow wins).

ETA: I prefer college football, but what storylines are so much more compelling there? TN coming out of hibernation to be semi-relevant against a very average FL team? GA only winning 39-22? Auburn being bad and winning?

For storylines that are so uncompelling, you seem to know a lot of the specifics of the action. Almost like you are paying extra attention to not be bothered. How does that work?

I agree. For me it’s the atmosphere and tradition of college football, and even though Mizzou has moved conferences, the University isn’t going to up and leave for Los Angeles like the Rams and abandon its own paying fans for more money.

There’s also a more tangible connection to college football since I went to school there, it’s different than “oh I live in this NFL city so I guess I’ll root for this franchise that doesn’t give a shite about anything or anyone other than making the most possible money”.

The NFL just feels too plastic and corporate, which is a shame because it’s full of the best athletes on the planet.

A 5.5 and 4.5 spread is one score (Cheifs/Colts and Bills/Dolphins).

Thats the NFL

Much bigger upsets in college
I think most understood what you meant. The biggest underdog to win in the NFL this week was a 6 pt underdog. Yes, there are bigger upsets in college football every single week than in the NFL. The atmosphere at a college football game is more exciting than an NFL game the majority of the time too. Guess that’s something non-SEC fans rarely understand though.

The upsets, the fans, the rivalries, and the games are just on a different level that the NFL. The CFB playoff is meh, and there's a definite argument in favor of the NFL there, but the Sunday games right now are just absolutely stale compared to CFB Saturday. No question, college is the better product.

It’s almost like the NFL designs their system so nobody is such a big underdog

Both college and pro football are WAY beyond predictable now.

CFB has now established itself, again, as a 4-5 team-dominated sport where the media will pick and choose who gets to play for the title.

NFL is just rigged crap like the NBA, NWA, etc...

Easy for a dawg fan to say. The same 5-6 Teams have won the title for the last decade or longer. When's the last time an NFL won back to back Super Bowls? Also NFL playoffs last year >>>>>>>> CFB playoffs last year and it's not close

the biggest issue with college football is that there's too many mismatches. FBS vs FCS teams need to be done away with for good.
