Yeah we're the only team to do that.

Which one creates a competitive advantage? Piped in noise or giving extra money for hits?

The New Orleans Saints deny any allegations of purposefully delaying the game on Monday evening. Defensive end Cameron Jordan felt foot pain following a third down play and sought medical attention. He entered the blue medical tent and was examined by the medical staff and following the examination he was taped and able to finish the game. He had an MRI performed the following day in New Orleans and was confirmed that he suffered an acute mid-foot sprain in his left foot. He has been at the facility each day receiving treatment for his injury he suffered on the play. The Saints will appeal the fines through the proper channels and believe the allegations will be proved incorrect.

Lmao. Hopefully the NFLPA can take a break from being worthless and fight against the NFL policing injuries in the middle of a game.

Of course the Saints would be the team to be fined for this.

Always make an example of the Saints.

Oh no, players were being paid extra for big hits. Surely only the Saints were doing it. Seems like this was pretty common behavior around the NFL.

That's why you still have refs to officiate games. The Saints didn't have any extra amount of personal fouls compared to other teams that season. And the NFL even reviews games after the fact for such penalties.

Goodell had to get the heat off the commanders debacle
Go review the latest game and find a fake injury
Goodell needs to go

Cam left the game and has to go into the tent, out of all the players and teams doing this how is this exact incident the one of the few that gets fined. The money amounts are absurd as well. Players safety my arse

My memory is rusty but I believe the saints were also the only team with a draft pick taken for Covid violations. Which included Sean not wearing a mask “properly” and a celebration in the locker room without masks. Others were just fined Like when Bortles killed their QB room for not wearing a mask

It’s hard to argue that the NFL does not go hard on the saints for violations

quote:

Sources say the Ravens were fined $250,000 for their role in the outbreak, but they were not docked a draft pick. The substantial fine is the same as the New England Patriots received but falls short of the $350,000 that the Tennessee Titans were fined for their COVID-19 issues. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos were not fined by the NFL for their COVID-19 situation that left them without a QB for one game.

There is a lot of that on this board but in this case, they’ve got a point.

ESPN says Jordan got an MRI the following day that confirmed a sprain so idk what the hell the league is doing here.

I wish Goodell would be dealt with…harshly. It’s obvious he has an agenda.

Nobody is blaming “someone else,” the point is that the saints always seem to get the max punishment or singled out.

Maybe the NFL should fine themselves for blatantly rigging games.

Perhaps play by the rules.

Y’all still paying players to take out peoples knees?

You are in third world country New Orleans after all, that’s par for the course.

How can they tell an injury is fake? If they are concentrating on the safety of the players they should not do anything to penalize a player for being injured. Except for the mandatory time out/penalty rule late in the game which I am in favor of.
