When did the NFL hire hordes of fake fans to fake clap and fake cheer to drown out the boos of the actual disappointed fans. The entire thing seems like a bad script now.

It's amazing how much of an unstoppable behemoth the NFL has become

2020 was such a wild time. It was a fun yet extremely weird draft to watch.

Like everything else the NFL does, the draft is extremely tacky and overproduced.
But apparently fake corporate slop is what the viewing public wants.

This is especially true when a team drafts some DLineman from a small school in the 3rd round and the camera shows a bunch of yelling exited fans. They never even heard of the guy that just got drafted.

They don’t
They find the most over the top fans in attendance and tell them they are going to put the hard cam on them and that they have to react like crazy lunatics who just won the lottery
Day 2 and 3 they bring people in from outside that don’t have tickets just to put on a show

It's one of the few sports, like NBA, where the guys being drafted are going to be pro's, year 1.
nhl and mlb, guys are 3-4 years away, if they even get there.

NFL is a living money tree

That’s a lot of people with no life whatsoever. The NFL draft is the most boring sports event on TV by light years.
