The Rams are basically saying "we are all in for this year except when we aren't. "

Sadiq seems like such a Jets pick.

and you decide to draft a 1-year sub-par starter at QB? I truly don’t understand it

I’m sure your analysis and evaluation of players is much more in depth than Sean McVay and Les Snead.

May seem like a reach but they see something they like for their offense. They know better than any of us.

I assume the Lions are taking a OT, either Freeling or Miller

Jets have somebody they like is my opinion. Might be Beck or Nuss

The Jets making good picks in the first round and the Rams drafting Ty Simpson. Someone unplug the NFL draft and plug it back in.

These Sadiq highlights remind me how unstoppable Pitts was in college. Why hasn't that translated to the NFL?

You realize he had three major injuries late last year?

Well, yeah but thats all the more reason to not draft so high. I really question he would have went in the first if the rams passed on him.

Rams probably could have moved up early in the 2nd and nabbed him.

They don’t need a QB as far as their season is doomed if they don’t draft one, but IMO the ideal situation is to draft your QB of the future before your current starter falls off the ledge and let him watch how it’s done and serve an apprenticeship before stepping into the role. They obviously think Simpson is their QB of the future.

They are saying, there isn’t a player here that we feel would be the difference between a Super Bowl and a playoff loss.

Very surprised at that Ty pick, I literally had just told my wife I think he made a mistake going to the draft cause I’d thought he’d sit until tomorrow

Good for him, probably the best place you could go as a rookie QB in all honesty

Exactly. After the top 8 went off the board, everyone else would be depth for them. May as well shore up the future, especially if Jimmy G retires as expected.

It took a while but Pitts has come on the last season and change as an impact player at the position

I think Pitts is a much different category, he basically just played outside WR at Florida, and there’s a world he’s just an elite WR if he were a tick faster.

Charles seems to be feasting a lot of move TE routes but not doing much else in an offense that seems to struggle to adapt to the next level for a lot of players. Athlete freak athlete that doesn’t jump off the page on the field. I feel like Eric Ebron might be the comp for him. Vernon Davis is probably the optimistic comp for him
