I’m not sure why 2 feet and elbow isn’t 3 steps

Elbow anywhere else is two feet

Not saying wrong call just wanting to understand why it’s not

Dez did catch it, but that call was karma from the hose job the Lions got the prior week.

I am thinking that doesn't apply here, as he "didn't complete the catch through hitting the ground" as they always say.

Maybe I misunderstand the rule though.

New Orleans looks to be the better team, which we may all already know, but Tampa Bay is finding a way to keep it even and hope to steal it

I feel like the announcers were making up a bunch of new standards as to what a catch is.

The rule needs to be changed, should have been 10 years ago, but not in the middle of a Saints game

Seems pretty evenly matched to me. The two TDs are a trick play and off of a bad int. Both offenses seem overmatched.

Saints offense cannot move the ball consistently though, I think Tampa has a better chance at that. New Orleans will somehow have to come up with big plays. Find Kamara some touches and get it to Thomas. Those two are your threats

But wouldn’t the elbow after 2 steps complete it? I guess the elbow hit oob but I really not sure why it wouldn’t count. I don’t know what a catch is anymore

The karma paybacks in those playoffs were amazing.
Lions screwed in Dallas.
Dallas screwed in Green Bay.
Green Bay loses in Seattle after getting a pick while up 19-7 with 5:13 remaining.
Malcom Butler pays back Seattle.

Saints can move it consistently if Sean doesn’t abandon the run

We all know the Saints are gonna lost this game in heartbreaking fashion. Just a matter of how.
