Run from the Carolina - Indy game today, running back carries the defense and gets up celebrating, flexing, and barking but no real issues.

He looks down and barks at him at first, but they're cracking down on the after the play stuff exactly like that unfortunately. It's just stupid

They’re placing a greater emphasis on taunting this year. RB got up and had something to say to the Carolina defender. Terry McAulay recently mentioned the taunting emphasis on his Twitter feed.

I am really starting to become less and less interested in the NFL, personally. All of the newer rules are just starting to ruin the game for me.

I was expecting it to be a more egregious call but that looked like a perfectly acceptable taunting call although a bit harsh.

Taunting is something they wanna crack down on and they should. They’re still allowing the stupid teeny girl choreographed celebrations so no it’s not the “no fun league”. As with all new attention to rules it’s called a lot during the pre season to send a message to the players but won’t be called as much once the players figure it out.

These unsportsmanlike penalties are weak. This isn’t Pop Warner, High School or College.
It’s entertainment. Refs throwing flags on a guy showing some emotion and talking some harmless trash is not entertaining. It’s soft as shite.

Just saw it. No problem w/it. When you stand over and look down at a player on the ground, that's textbook taunting.

So they’re allowing offensive linemen to get out the tackle box and block corners and safeties who can’t go low anymore?
