Ron Zook and Luke Fickell were legends?

Fickell was never officially HC, only interim. I assume he's referring to Tressel as a legend based on his complete domination of Michigan.

I think he’s coming. Coaching in the ACC has to grow old at some point when you can be coaching at LSU, Texas aM, Auburn, etc instead of Miami, Duke, Wake Forest, etc. He’s got the hardware so he doesn’t need to run the easy schedule to make sure he gets National Championships in his back pocket.

In his ten years he’s got 6 big ten titles
A national title
5 BCS bowls
Runner up twice
And a college football hall of fame inductee
Throw in his Youngstown success

He’s a legend

NBC Sports: Kellen Moore

What about Dallas Cowboys OC and former Boise St QB legend Kellen Moore? He has turned the Dallas offense into a machine and has done wonders for Dak Prescott. He seems like the new "IT" up and coming coach. Young, creative and poised. Would seem like a great hire for any of the college Blue Bloods or NFL franchises. He is going to get his shot real soon!!

If Dabo ever gets bored coaching at Clemson, I think he would go to the NFL instead of taking the Bama job.

The most interesting hire would be who takes the Bama job. And only an idiot would take it.

I'll sacrifice and be that idiot for Alabama. All I ask for is 5 million to coach for one year.

I could see that too. Do you think he would entertain a college offer? Being dead serious, if i were Michigan, i would be looking at him quite seriously!

Yes
But let’s see how the rest goes
He’s 3-0 against the Redskins Giants and Dolphins

If he keeps it up though i say he’s the HCIW with Dallas
And HC of the Cowboys is just a better job

Dabo has made some under the breath comments about the NFL..he recently said that when fans can't get excited about any win (In reference to not winning with style points) then it's time to move on the the NFL.

Dabo really likes developing boys to men through the game of football. That's one of his biggest recruiting tools. He really wants his players ti grow up to be the kind men this country needs.

I think as the college game continues to shift more and more to a pro-type format where the head coach doesn't have the same power is when Dabo moves to the NFL...

I could also very easily see him making the jump to TV like a Lee Corso type replacement. He's really good for TV and would do well as a TV guy.

He will do this.

But after his coaching career is over
He’s only 49

Agreed. 1st call Bama makes is Dabo. Will throw the bank at him

Lulz.

Can't say this enough, but Dabo will tell Bama to pound sand.

And if he doesn't, Kathleen will get on the phone and do it for him. She's the key. She's not leaving Clemson ergo neither is Dabo.

he's done the same about Bama...recently at that.

A lot of the "Dabo isn't coming to bama, he's a legend at Clemson and doesn't want to follow Saban" rhetoric is wishful thinking/anxiety.

You'll see it on the books in Vegas when Saban does finally retire. At his very core, Dabo is a bigger Gump than many on this message board.

Right, his "never say never" comment really alluded to that. As did his trip to Bryant Denny 10 months after facing bama in the national championship on his bye week.

Deep down you all know it's coming. When the dust settles, there's just no place like home. As a Clemson fan, I can see why it would seem degrading to you. The greatest coach in your history is a HCIW for a better job

Yeah, if bama gets the money right (which they will) I just can't see him turning them down. Esp if his boys have already graduated from Clemson.
