I remember montanas son. His son was not even close to the hype

Played against lower talent than when the other Mannings were at Newman.
they all played for Newman how is the talent worse? I saw him on ESPN play some good out of state schools and I was never impressed by him.

TBF, it's only his first year as a starter. He technically has two more years to develop

only there was a passing academy that he could have attended to get proper instruction.
Damn I missed out

6.8 million $$$$ No excuses when you’re paying that much money to a college player! He needs to play like he is a fifth year senior!
Is it his fault someone decided to pay that?

good genetics. Best coaching available. All the physical tools. Massive hype. And the product is like division 2. I never seen anything like it.
LeBron’s kid.

Watered down playoffs, for starters

Div 2? Come on.
He’s a first year full time starter and he’s in the middle of the pack of SEC starters
Also I’m not sold on the coaching nor on the talent around him

Because back in Peyton and Eli’s days you had legit talent in class 2A schools… now it all gets recruited to the Catholic League no matter where you live… the college recruiters hold it against you if you play in a lower classification and don’t play competition (and dudes like Arch are why)

I was the opposite.
Didn't matter who he was playing against in high school, he made bigtime throws across the field but it looks to me like his delivery has actually gotten worse in college.
That's what I don't understand. He's show no improvement from high school and maybe some regression.

i saw him playing against a team from florida and they got crushed on ESPN.

Does Arch's OL protect him?
No and they start a 3 star freshman white kid at receiver. This Texas offense is not very good.
Arch started slow and hasn’t lived up to the hype but he’s improved every week and he looks like a very good qb the last couple of weeks.
Texas is going to have to revamp the entire offense around Arch next year if they want to compete for a title.

LeBrons kid was not highly touted. People questioned whether he actuallg belonged in the NBA and for good reason.

His fundamentals look bad to me. That sidearm slinging he does all the time looks terrible.
If only there was a Passing Academy he could've attended.

He doesn’t have the arm strength to be an elite pro prospect
He will be a good college QB before his career is over. He is really good in the pocket, just is not able to progress quickly enough yet.
