This is quite impressive

I’d say we’ve almost reached mythical levels of finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I’m many years passed getting mad or sick to my stomach about it anymore.
Mostly just smh most of the time nowadays.

Nebraska dominated the stat sheet, except in one crucial category…
Interceptions thrown:
Washington: 0
Nebraska: 3

Since firing Bo Pelini (who went 16-12 in one score games), Nebraska is 21-51 in one score games.

This thought would be unfathomable and blasphemy if said by a husker fan in 1999 lol.
Respect that you said it though, times are way different and not trying to be snarky but I hope you truly enjoyed the run you guys had in the 90s because that type of dominance is like holy grail rare.

Those midseason extension announcements for Rhule and Colandrea looking great

Let’s schedule a home and home to see how badly each team wants to lose late in halves.

That’s the last year they won a conference championship in football.

The phrase "All time choke" can no longer be applied to any team of any sport for any loss for the rest of time.
The ownership of the phrase is now the sole property of the Atlanta Falcons.

I feel like I post this every other week, every single season: I don't know how Nebraska fans do it at this point.
Especially the fans that grew up seeing them in the 90s and before when they were a legit intimidating team to go up against. Even me who grew up in 90s football I was in awe of Nebraska football as an LSU fan, I thought they were the most consistent CFB product out there, it was machine-like. That 2001 Colorado game and both me and my paw paw could not believe that such a thing was happening to Nebraska, because sometimes they could be beat but no one could ever imagine someone could hang 60+ on them.
Ever since that game I feel like the mystique of Nebraska football has eroded and we're left with whatever this is nowadays. I don't know how die hard, long time Nebraska football fans continue to reconcile what they've seen for the past 25 years with what they grew up seeing.

That 2001 Colorado was one of them games where everything just went 100% right for CU no matter what Nebby tried or did. I agree with you that game was the beginning of the end.
