I feel like this result is very in line with UVA basketball over the last several years. Spectacular regular season only to exit early in the tournament. This, of course, is a little different for being a 1 losing to a 16, but they have exited earlier than expected for a few years now iirc. I almost start to feel for that UVA coach a little bit, gotta be tough. However, I was rooting for UMBC all the way.

I heard this morning on the radio that only 6000 something brackets were still perfect. Has to be 0 now

They’ve only lost early once though correct?

I can’t watch Syracuse their guards or lack of them makes me nauseated
frick MU has less total points than FSU has bench points
What channel is TCU?

yeah, perhaps it was just one other year. I may be mistaken. I remember having them go to the championship game in my bracket one year only for them to lose in the first or second round. Ever since then I have thought of them as choke artists in the tourney. But it may have just been the one other time that it happened.

Team is toast. Hell, I’m glad to even make the tournament after watching trash basketball for 3 years before. Yeah, Stewart gaffed in that game. But they weren’t that good of a team that year. They would have lost the next game anyway. Pitino made the same mistake against Duke a few years earlier. Oh well. It happens.

UVA's style sucks for March and they've had worse tourney luck all-time than even Purdue.

Virginia has been snakebitten the last few years. They were upset by a low seeded Syracuse team too 2 years ago.

Stewart is a POS in my book for the way he threw Sundvold under the bust to save his arse and Daley’s arse
When you hear Jon Sundvold talk about Stewart you can tell it pisses him off.

What was TCU doing on that last possession?
Posted on 3/16/18 at 11:01 pm to sms151t
Damn, TCU messed that whole sequence up.

I don’t remember that. I was pretty young then. Still the best coach in school history.

I want to see a bracket that had Arizona and Virginia losing in 1st round.

It's tough to criticize UVA and Bennett for not playing to their seed in the postseason when you consider that Bennett is actually probably overachieving the last few years in the regular season given his actual talent level.
