Butler to Minny for Lavine, Dunn, and the #7 pick according to Woj.

As a Bulls fan, I really like this deal for them. That's a nice haul of young talent. I wish Wade opted out and they made a deal for Bledsoe deal too... though the option to get Bledsoe is still on the table.

IF they can somehow get Bledsoe then it won't be as terrible of an offseason, but in a vacuum, that was a pretty terrible trade. Based on last season, they just got about 11 points worse per 100 possessions trading Levine + Dunn for Butler. Even if they add Bledsoe, that is still about 8.5 points worse.

They just traded away one of the top 10 players in the league.

Dunn is about to ball out.

I like the Dunn, Levine, Valentine combo and they still have yet to unleash Portis. I really like this deal for Chicago. Dunn tore the summer league up but Thibs hates rookies. He's going to ball.

He was one of the worst offensive player players in the league last year. Obviously he can improve, especially since he probably has a better offensive coach, but he was terrible--even by rookie standards.

He obviously played well averaging 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists with an EFG% of 55.7% and True Shooting % of 57.7% in 2 games.

But Tyrus Jones, averaged 20.4 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.8 rebounds with an EFG% of 50.9% and True Shooting % of 59.0% in 8 games.

So I'm not inclined to put too much stock in 68 minutes during summer league games as some indicator of his likelihood to "ball out" when he did the opposite of balling out in 1333 minutes during the regular season.

George signing a 3 year extension makes zero sense so this is probably just nonsense
